It depends on where it is for. If it is an American Express or Master Card gift card then I would use it for something I always wanted to do, like a trip an overnight in the city. If it is for a store, I would buy clothes, CD's or Dvd's. There must be something out there that you really want? Use the gift certificate towards that. |

What store is it for? If it is for the mall, I'd get some clothes. Or save it for when you want something, just check the expiration date, or if it is a gift receipt, not a gift card, they usually give you cash back. Go to cvs, get a pack of gum and pocket the money.
There are websites that you can sell your gift certificates or swap them for one more useful to you. |
