As someone who has run companies of various types for over 10 years, I can tell you the number one trait I look for in an person that works for me is self motivation. Does the person sit around waiting to be told what to do or do they go out and do it themselves? Also, do they have enough confidence in themselves to do something without being told? People who just wait to be told to to things are the types who want to remain unseen, who do not want to stand out. I look for people who want strive everyday to be creative, bold and instinctive in what they do.
A bad employee will take a "I was not told to do it" or "That is not in my job description" were a good employee will have a "I can do it no matter what it is" attitude. |

A good employee does not have to be constantly supervised. In between tasks, he/she keeps himself/herself (I won't do that any more) busy being productive.
A good employee constantly studies and learns and improves himself, making himself more valuable.
A good employee respects the time he is being paid for and does not steal from his employer surfing the net, personal emails, or frivolous activities.
A good employee does not steal anything!
A good employee encourages others. Especially new employees and helps them learn their job.
A bad employee does non or few of these things. |

I think a good employee is a happy one. If they enjoy doing what they are required to do, and get on well with their work-mates and the boss, then I think they are a good employee. I wish I knew how to tell if an applicant for a job will be like that. All you can do is ask their previous employers if they would employ that person again. |

bad ones stand around when things are slow , dont call in, take off without notice.....good ones when things are slow find something useful to do without you having to tell them , they always ask for a day in advance to take care of personal things, good public relations no matter who is in the wrong the customer or client is always right they are willing to work when it is thier day off of needed and last of all they make a world of difference in the buisness |

A good employee is one that is courteous towards other workers an has a high respect for a employer, carry out their work in total control of what they are employed to do and in a safe manner. and have safe working enviroment
A bad employee sets a bad example and often finds that they are unemployable in most situations and this is not the fault of the employer.
Not being courteous to other employees, not respect the role of their employer
Not doing their work when asked causing disruptions in the work place, skylarking, and that can lead to someone getting hurt or even killed.
These are the most common differences between the two. |

You should watch Spong Bob Square Pants episode "Employee of the Month" How can you not know the diffference between a good and bad employee? A good employee does what's expected out of them without mouthing off. A bad employee does as little as possible and is usually mouthy. |

I've noticed the employees who seem to get ahead and are seen as good employees often are very skilled at bull shitting and good at passing the blame. |

Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, (buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market), do not actually work. Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism.
Profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is pathological deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names and fake backgrounds).
Actual economics is the persons paying the monthly business loan payments of companies voting at work in order to control the property they are paying for.
Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary parents, false economics, and the criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies.
Anti-democracy republicanism is the psychology of imaginary parents, and false government. |
