I once watched a live interview with an Indian artist..and a screening of an asian actor's death. Performing on screen and being famous as an actor is one way of achieving that immortality (in a shallow sense of human perception). To be simplistic, yep, you just need to be famous to remain in everyobody's memory for a long, long, longest time. Who would forget Princess Di, Bruce Lee, (anyone else?) |

Make seven Horcruxes like Lord Voldemort. Haha just kidding.
There's no easy way, but you achieve immortality by dying. It's kinda complicated... If you do some research you'll know what I mean. Check this out: http://www.world-mysteries.com/sci_11.htm#Ego |

have a kid that won't die. Or you could right a book that becomes famous and everyone quotes. Or do something politically enraging. I don't think Sadam, Hitler, or Dick Cheeny. |

Why do you want to live forever; but if you must, find a vampire, have them bite you, at least that way you won't age.
But since I'm a new reborn Christian that would have been my old answer. I love Jesus, now, amen ;). |

I'm a Christian, so I believe that we chose between an eternity of death or an eternity of life, and that nothing we can do earns the life- it's only be the grace of God. Humans were designed to glorify God by enjoying him forever. Thirst for Him is never thoroughly satisfactorily filled until we reach Heaven, but the 'treasures we store up there', and the steps we take in our relationship with God don't lose their joy and become worthless as soon as we're done with them, as the diversions of this world: fleshly pleasure hunting, and self righteousness / pursuit of righteousness not to glorify God, which are both attempts at being our own gods in our own lifes and minds. That's what I believe. I don't think it was quite what you were looking for, but I hope that you get glean something useful from it, even if it's just knowledge of an apposing viewpoint.
<3 in Christ, Lily. |

Not to offend anybody. But I've always been told the closest thing to immorality is getting saved. You know the Church way. Because if you say the prayer and do your best to follow God when your "worldly" body dies your Spirit lives in heaven forever, whereas if your not saved, you experience spiritual death. Something like that. I'm not an expert. If you want more info about stuff to that respect, I would advise you find a church in your area and talk to the Pastor, Reverend, or whoever ministers there, And ask away. |
