What is the meaning of life? why there is a death and a birth?

Life â€“ it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.

I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.

As human beings, we all ask the question: Who am I? Who am I meant to become? What is my value or destiny as a human being? Who will become for me the model of my humanity? Pope John Paul II told us that ultimately JESUS CHRIST IS THE ANSWER to these questions. Christ is the living blueprint and pattern for our humanity. Jesus Christ reveals our meaning to us.

Thus Pope John Paul II, quoting Vatican II in his Redeemer of the Human Race, wrote: "Christ...fully reveals man to himself and brings to light his most high calling." "In Christ and through Christ," the pope added, all are enabled to come to "full awareness of their dignity...and of the meaning of their existence."

You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.

The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of an infinitely loving and merciful God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us.

Some would say there IS no reason. If all we are is matter and energy, then intellect, awareness and personality are illusions-- you can't get a self-aware, intelligent person out of non-aware unintelligent impersonal matter and energy. We don't mean anything to anybody but ourselves, and that doesn't mean anything either-- there isn't really any 'us' for them to be meaningful to.

Others say that God made us and has a plan for our lives. This suggests that awareness, intelligence and personality are inherent in what has always existed (God). This way, we means something to God as well as to ourselves, and that meaning has validity because it goes beyond ourselves, beyond what we could think or deduce or imagine for ourselves.

Very few people can admit to themselves that if there really is no God, our lives are totally unimportant and anything we say or do to the contrary is just deceiving ourselves-- not just other people's lives whom we don't care for, but our very own. Which one do you prefer to believe?

i belive that people live to make others feel good .And i think death is a part of life and is nothing to fear of. Idon`t know whi death and life exist but i`m glad they do exist

the meaning of life is: find out what you love and do it.birth and death are inevitabble , but you can always enjoy what separates them

The reason there is birth and death is because that's the cycle of life on earth.

The *meaning* of life is another story:

1. Be happy,
2. Try not to hurt other people and
3. Hope you fall in love

There is birth so we don't die out and there is death so there isn't too many of us.

if you are a weak minded person, use the bible as a crutch.

otherwise, death and birth is all about reproduction to keep the species alive. sex is all about reproduction. it's enjoyable because if it wasn't, nobody would do it and we would all die.

Well, in the Bible it says we come to earth as a like a test, i think... and we die to go and join GOD in Heaven. Jesus rocks!
