Well I thought that just the other day actually, after being told I had fibromyalgia and a stuffed back? I was a bit depressed by the news and then thought what the hell am I going to do with the rest of my life. Then I looked at my three kids playing and giggling and it was one of those moments that meant so much, that life does go on and I still had a job to do, being a mother and wife.And then I thought well it could be worse, i could be dying and at least my brain and arms and legs work, so I could look at something else as a job as well to work around this. Never give up...Life is just one big challenge...go for it!!! |

I think a point of life is different for every individual on this earth. We all have different motivations and reasons for being who we are and wanting to do what we do. For example, I see that my point in life is to be both a teacher and a Mother. They are 2 very strong feelings that I have had since I was young and they have never left me.. Thankfully I am a Mother and am on the path to becoming a teacher. Other peoples point to life might be to party hard and die young, some other people might like to work hard and have no children, but live very nicely in some posh place and make everyone else feel bad that their lives arent up to scratch! We all have a different purpose.
My family pushes me to live, every day I will wake up and do my best to ensure that my family is happy and healthy. I think we are all different because of our different upbringings and our different likes/dislikes. |

I believe that life is pointless, but that may not be so bad as it sounds. It's like asking, what is the point of an ommelette? Well, somehow it exists and works a certain way, and then it stops existing. It's just not that important!
Not knowing whether there is anything better or worse afterwards probably makes us stick with life a while longer.
And we do what we do because of who we are. Life is like a book. It begins and everything is possible, but the longer it goes on, the more consequences of your acts limit the possible ending. It sort of narrows down to the moment you die. Whatever. |
