This is no lie. My high school science teachers name was Micheal Butts, him and his wife had a son and they named the poor little guy Harold / Harry! I couldn't believe it that poor child will never live that name down. I cant imagine what junior high and high school will be like for him.
Oh heres another funny thats not really on track but worth while just the same. One of my friends cousins name is Jason Bates. He was in the military and made it up to sargent. Later he got another promotion and his full military name that he was called by was Sargent Master Bates! True story, I read about his promotion in out local paper. I just about spit out my coffee from laughter. |

Johnny Cash's father named him "Sue", at least in one of Johnny's songs that he sung. And, according to the song, Johnny got beat up by the guys for it and led a rough life because of his father naming him Sue. So Johnny finally met up with his father years later and had it out with him. After the fight, his father told him that because he had to leave Johnny and his mother when Johnny was born, he knew that he would not be there as a father to bring Johnny up to survive in a harsh world. So he named him Sue knowing that that would make him tough as he grew up. Then Johnny knew that his father really loved him after all because he was only thinking of his welfare when he named him Sue! |

Giving a child a last name as a first name sucks. Like Taylor,or Tyler. Naming a child a dogs name like Dakota. Giving a child a first name that rymes with the last. Or giving a name that is totally out of ethnic background like naming a white kid Jamal,Tyrone,Latisha,Jarome. Parents think they are cute giving there kids way out of this world names but, it can have its consequences when they go to school. I happen to work with a guy named Martin Partin imagine the teasing he went through as a child. |
