The original "Carrie" scared the daylights out of me, particularly when the girl goes to visit Carrie's grave at the end and Carrie's dirt-streaked hand comes up out of the soil and grabs her. I couldn't walk on the floor for a while after that moment. I was about 10 and people had to carry me across the floor! |

The whole movie wasn't scary, but once I saw a really stupid late night film, something like "The Man with X-Ray Vision." The premise was this doctor started putting drops in his eyes, and first he was seeing through clothes, then he was seeing people in x-ray and, as I understood the ending, his eyes exploded. The eyes exploding was what scared me.
Later, I saw a French film where one of the characters sat in a chair and allowed another character to cut her eye open with a straight razor. I had no idea the scene was in the film and I hated it, also when they really butchered a live horse. If I'd known all that was in the film, I wouldn't have gone. |

Mine was Its Alive....a baby born with teeth and claws!!! I slept with a light on for a whole year!!!! And I was 13 at the time....Never did watch the sequels!!! eeeek |

Funny you should ask. I never realized this until after I was married, but for me it was anything on tv with fire engines. They were big and too loud!!!!! The funny part was that I married a fire fighter! LOL! |

The movies ,"beyond the door , and ,"the exorcist. I was also afraid of the cigarette comercial with the slogan ,"We would rather fight than switch," then they showed a person with a black-eye. I dont know why I was afraid of that , but I ran every time it came on television. |
