The white pants and pink top are fine. Wear a closed toe shoe...to a grocery store interview even a nice clean pair of tennis shoes will be fine. The hair doesn't really matter as long as all of your face can be seen and doesn't look trashy. |

Dont show skin, look responsible. No flip flops, casual is ok since you are 16. Just dont look too childish. |

even if you're required to wear a uniform, you should still be very presentable for your interview. I would dress as if you are going to church, I would not wear flip flops, or sneakers. as for your hair, again, what would you wear to church??? I'd say probably hair down, or half pony... Good luck! |

don't wear flip flops or sneakers - do you have dress flats that are okay with those pants ? if not you can prob get something at payless for $5. outfit sounds great. put your hair in a pony tail or anything so it's out of your face and you look like you're ready to work. also so you don't fidget with your hair. |

The white/ pink sounds good. K-swiss's for the shoes, and hair down. Best wishes |

Wear your Sunday "go to church" clothes. |

Pony tail, cover up all your toes. Sometimes some of those jobs (like in the deli) require you to put up your hair. Sometimes some of those jobs (like in the back) require covered toes. You should dress like the 1st level supervisors at the store for the interview for entry level job: dress one level up from what you're applying for. |

Dress as if you are going to ask a big favor of the meanest, most strict and conservative teacher ever! Keep the jewelry, cosmetics, make up to a minimum. No sandals -- violation safety rules in most places. Hair pulled away from your face and a plain pony tail, not styled or fussy.
Your appearance should tell the boss that you want to WORK, not play, not flirt, not impress your friends, not 'express your individuality' ... but WORK. |

I would recommend something relatively conserative, but the employer knows you're 16, so you don't have to dress like you're 40. I would definitely not wear flip-flops as I am sure they are not allowed as work attire in a supermarket. I would consider pulling your hair back as they will probably want than during working hours anyway (working near food). If you do it before they tell you to do it, it gives a better impression. Otherwise the outfit you suggested would be probably acceptable.
Good luck ! |

Your outfit sounds nice, but I wouldn't go with the flip flops. Closed shoes would be better. Do you have a resume'? Do you have time to whip one up, with previous jobs showing the skills you need for this job? Any letters of recommendation? Don't forget your references. Be on time. Wear your hair the way you usually do-just put your best foot forward and be professional. I hope you get it! |

You are going to work in a supermarket!!!!
Well! Be Casual and not to Conservative, something you would wear to be apealing but not too sexy!
Dont worry about your hair, just wear it nice!
The biggest thing is is to go to the interview wearing a Big Smile! As that is what people remember!
Hope you get it! |

Wear dress pants and a dressy shirt. No flip flops. The k-Swiss are even too casual. Some kind of closed toe dress style shoe (flats/pumps/loafers even) would be a whole lot better. Skip big jewelery too. I would wear your hair in the ponytail.
Long story short - you want to come across as someone who's mature and responsible, not flaky and tartish.
Good luck! I hope you get the job! |

I would definitely NOT go with the flip-flops...not too fitting for a supermarket. Half-pony or down works well, and may make you seem more serious/dependable. good luck! |

I don't think the white pants and tennis shoes is a very good idea. Wear some nice black dress pants and definitely NOT flip flops. Some dressier sandals may be more appropriate but closed toed shoes are way better. Don't wear anything too tight, especially if a woman is conducting the interview. She'll look past your app.
Goood Luck at your interview. I hope i helped. |

Don't worry so much about what to wear. You should think more about what to say, answering questions, etc. |

If it's a guy interviewing you: a short short mini skirt and a tube top, and high heels!
If it's a woman: be conservative and smart! dress in pants )not jeans_ and a nice blouse.. preferably white. |

definitely not the flip flops. Black pants would be better with a nice top, pink is ok but a white blouse might look more professional. |

I wouldn't wear flipflops... or even sneakers. Try and wear nice pants/skirt and a nice blouse. Closed toe shoes or nice dress sandals will be fine.. and GOOD LUCK! |

No sneakers, no flip flops, no shorts, no jeans.
Wear some nice sandals, a skirt, khakis, or pants. Do not wear too much jewelry or makeup. And don't wear a tank top or a low cut shirt.
Put your hair up, it is more professional.
Always dress for an interview a notch above what you will wear to the job each day. |

dress professionally.
no open-toe shoes, no jeans.
wear pants and a blouse.
no loud colors.
no heavy perfume.
nice hair style, neat.
look the interviewer in the eyes.
don't act nervous.
smile when appropriate.
bring a resume, and a pen
some references, if you have them.

No one looking like a hooker or gangsta needed.
3. no extravagant fingernail manicure - just clean & short.
