I got a phone call from some chick asking for my moms BF, and i took a messge, and she asked me if he had a girlfriend(my mom) and she said not to say anything. They have been going out for like 8 years, and he lives with us. Should I tell him first to explain himself, or should I tell my mom right away with him not around???? Need an answer!!! |

I would tell my mom - in private and let her know that this situationa was hard for you to decide what to do -because you would like to give her boyfriend the benefit of the doubt ( maybe it was a girl from his job that stole his number from work - A guy who liked me had done this to me and I almost got in trouble with my boyfriend at the time-but luckily the guy apologized and said he did not know I wasn't single!!!) So anything is possible -since they have been together for 8 years that says alot -unless he has had suspicious behavior before or she has caught him cheating before. Just tell your mom you felt that she should know and that she should talk to him to get the truth out could be he's innocent (like my situation) or could be another story.

I think you need to sit down with your mom and talk with her. If he is cheatin on your mom, that isn't right. He is only hurting the relationship and I'm sure your mom deserves batter than this. Talk with her. |

tell your mother. there's no excuse for someone to cheat on another. think about how horrible it would be if your mother was the one to find out on her own. it's better that you tell her. she's your mom. tell her everything u know about the situation. dont just go out and say so and so is cheating on you. give her the facts and let her figure out how to solve the problem. |

I think the best thing you could do is talk to your mom first. Asking him for an explanation might just cause a lot more trouble than just going straight and telling your mom exactly what happened. It is a really sticky situation because you don't want to assume anything about the boyfriend, but at the same time you want to protect your mom and keep her from getting hurt. I wish you well. I know it must be a difficult situation you are in. |

you really need to tell your mom she has a right to know. Dont let your moms boyfriend know your doing it though, because he might try hurting you. I know about boyfriends cheating i had a cheatting boyfriend before. Good luck on telling your mom. |
