What state has the most historical monuments besides New York?
I would guess Pennsylvania for National historical monuments.
Texas, however, has LOTS of historical monuments, seems like you can't drive down any farm town without seeing "Historical marker - 1 mile" signs. Texas has a lot of history, having been it's own country, also owned by Spain, France, and Mexico at different times, and a lot of civil war battles were fought there.

Definately Philadelphia, Pennsylvania because it has all the stuff that founded our country like the liberty bell and Gettysburg (civil war battle area).
