Additional Details I have had both physical and emotional pain. My physical pain was when I was in labor with my oldest son the epidural went into my lungs and the doc wouldn't let me push for 3 hours. It hurt like HELL. My emotional pain was when I went to the doctor when I was pregnant with my middle son. They made me go to the hospital and get checked out. Come to find out my blood wasn't cirrculating well. I stayed in the hospital all night, and the next day they did another ultrasound. I asked the doc if we were gonna make it, and he said " It's too early to tell." Twenty minutes after that, my sons heart rate dropped way down. I was surrounded by 3 doc, 4 nurses, and my sis and hubby. They did an emergency c section. He got a belly infection when they finally tried to give him formula for the first time. Luckily the doc caught it in time. He spent almost 3 months in the NICU, and now he is 3...happy, healthy, and still small (24 lbs, but keep in mind he started out 2 lbs 4 oz).
Emotional pain. My son was born and I could not even hold him, he had to be rushed for oxygen. Actually, I could not even hold him for 2 weeks and I had to watch him fight for his life. Thank God today he is a very healthy boy!

I was trying to hop a fence, and my wrist got caught on the top row of wires. I slipped and hung from my wrist for about ten seconds while I tried to get a foothold. I thought I was going to rip my hand off. Then I fell on a rock and broke my arm. It wasn't a good day.

worst physical pain was being in labor with a 10lb baby for 36 hours. worst heart ache. finding out the the man you loved more then the number of grains of sand on the earth was married. Took 5 years to get over that pain. somwtimes it still hurts 10 years later.
