i found my 1st job thru a friend. it was being a waitress at a old folks home. it was very easy the people had a choice between 1 2 or 3. They would tell me which and i would bring them whatever number they wanted it was super easy and sometimes they gave tips. I was 16 at the time and got paid $6.75 plus there was about 10 other people that worked there from my school so we all had fun working there cause we worked with friends. |

I was a cashier at a local supermarket. I dealt with money and numbers, which I still enjoy, and had a lot of customer contact. |

McDonald's. I had so much fun with my co-workers but the work could get hard and sometimes gross.............I wouldn't recommend it, all the grease made me have really bad skin problems. |

I answered the phone at Domino's pizza for three hours a night during the dinner hour rush when I was 15. It really helped out the pizza cooks so they could get them out the door faster. At that time, they had a 30 minute delivery guarantee. I loved the job as I worked w/ one of my good friends who helped me get the job. |

In a food court cafe selling 'Aussie' food. I loved the people I worked with but the job sucked, greasy food, customers, burning myself... When I started my training wage was $4.18 an hour, I was 15. |

very first was cutting laws and babysitting.,. and worked up from there. I've worked through school in a lot of different places including, photolab, call centre, summer program for kids, airport, waitress..
All have their ups and downs but I think it really just depends on the people you work with. The worst jobs can still be enjoyable if you have fun people to work with. Other places are easy and you would think they would be fun but the people are downers and all they do is complain. Do information calling, call places and ask them some questions you are interested in - what do you need to work there, what is the environment like - heck it may even end up with a prospective job placement. |
