thats a long time coming and by then they will have discovered a way to reduce production costs. or else they will go the way of coal producing nations and convert into giant tourist resorts. |

Great question.
Those countries that are spending money like water and not saving any of it or investing it, they will turn into a wasteland overnight, and we will never hear from them again.
On the other hand, countries like Dubai (the best, in my opinion) are already investing across the whole world. They even have the best resorts in Dubai and are trying to turn itself into a worldwide tourist attraction.
Oh, and by the way, since gas surpassed the magic $70/barrel, there are all kinds of energy alternatives.
You can crate gas using pure nuclear power to convert, oh sorry, I think that's classified.
Anyway, you can convert algae into gas. Just wait a few years, no more than a decade... |

They will start using all of their desert land for wind farms, solar farms and geothermal plants.
Besides, what makes you think "we" will discover how to make cheap fuel?
It will likely be Japan or Germany or some other country where they are much more serious about science studies, especially ones related to conservation, since they don't have land and resources to waste like the US does. |

The Arab Nations always use money power to prevent a nation from discovering alternative to petrol. |

Such a thing is remote.Alternative if any discovered may not be cheapest.Any way we shall try our level best.
What ever be the alternative energy to find out in the future nothing will happen to the Arab nations ;other nations are existing without oil resources of their own.
Shall we supply oil to gulf contries ?.There is no such possobility in the present set up. |

They'll still have the rest of the world to sell their oil to. It is going to be a very long, expensive process to break the American oil addiction. The rest of the world will take even longer and keep the oil producing countries in business..
don't forget, only half the world's oil is produced by "Arab" nations. Russia, Venesuela, Ukrane, Norway, get rich off oil too. |

Arab nations are now depending on their oil to a great extent and it their black gold but when time comes it will change as their oil wells will eventually dry up one day or become scarce. So with cost of oil going to a surge of US100 per barrel there will be new discoveries in energy in time to come and when that happens the Arab nations have to find alternatives but then their oil will also become competitive in prices with new discoveries based on demand. The can't depend on that all the while and have to look at other avenues that are not tapped now to a great extend. Eventually they have to that but no more monopoly. |

Without oil the Arab nations will all have to go back to herding camels. |

Allah, the one and only God whom the Muslims praise and worship, has assured them :"not to despair the mercy of Him
at any time'!
Before the dicovery of petroleum ("black Gold) , the Arabs were,no doubt, herding camels !
Allah has endowed them with very large gold mines
If Black Gold fails they will shift to Yellow Gold!
Iraq will be the first Arab country where gold would be mined . Thats why Israel and US have gone there! |
