it depends on the context. i used to see people stare at me when i'm with my boyfriend (i'm asian, he's white). i knew they were probably thinking, "there's another case of yellow fever" or "why did she ditch her people to be with a white guy?" it made me really self-conscious, but after a while i got used to it and it didn't really bother me anymore. |

People stare at me all the time -cause I have an exotic, unique look -I'm bi-racial black & white with dark redish-brown hair and goldish/brown eyes (like a light hazel) -I'm really pale as well -so most people stare trying to figure out what race i am - most assume I'm latino or Arab ( and that I just dyed my hair )until they see the freckles- It makes me feel self-concious sometimes but I love the fact that I stand out - I'm happy with my appearance I just wish it wasn't such a big deal -sometimes it feel like I cant go anywhere without people staring at me or doing a double take - I mostly get stared at by guys - and I get hit on alot which bothers me cause I'm a bit shy- one black guy said "your hot for a white girl" when I told him I was mixed he didn't belive me til I showed him a pic of my folks - |
