What would the world b like if there was no...?

if there was no money?
and ppl worked for nothing
there would b no thiefs because u could just take stuff anyway

would the stuff b worse or better
if ppl acctualy enjoyed working for nothing?
has any country tried that before, having no currency?

it would be ridiculous anarchy. This is a perfect distopia without purpose or ambition. It would also be instantly corruptable because it goes against everthing that is human nature. If people enjoyed working for nothing they wouldn't be people, they'd be bees. It's ridiculous and naive.

there would be trade. which is a form of money. If people could not trade, they would not be able to love because no one person can do everything needed to keep them going

If it wouldn't be money, it would be something else. For instance, people would seize land, other people, and anything owned by the people and not themselves. That is why we have the 10th Commandment, "Thou shalt not covet."

I do not know of any country in recent times that has tried having no currency. Maybe some tribes that live deep in the rain forest or some underdeveloped region. But those people respect each other as family unlike our current culture we live in today. Especially in America where we have a lot of variety in culture and groups, there is not the trust or love for one another that there should be. As a matter of fact, if people loved one another in America, we would not have rich or poor people. We would not have people without healthcare. We would not have people living on the streets. Technically, the whole world would have to be on the same page in loving one another for it to work right. But it's a change of heart that can start in each family. Love spreads like fire when people are serious about it and desire change.

The one thing this country used to have in common was God, but now some folks are trying to get rid of our "family ties" which was God himself.

Money is something that used to be used to build a city. Now it has become something of desire and people, being sinful in nature, are greedy for more because of what it can do.

Money appears to be the answer for a lot of problems, but it isn't. In fact, it can create more problems and many people do not grow closer to friends and family with it, they grow farther apart. Most of all, they grow apart from God because they feel that with enough money, they no longer need Him for anything. It's a false sense of security.

People have tried to govern themselves without God and it fails everytime. They forget that God owns everything, including all money. He decides who has how much and when.

Before there was currency, people bartered or traded one thing for another.
Who would work for nothing? Not me.

I have to agree with Smiles. Many many years ago things were done on a barter system. You do this for me, I will do that for you kind of thing.

people wouldnt work. even before we had money people would trade. people have never worked for nothing. thats just stupid

We would not have a home or cars to get around.there would be theifs to steal stuff and trading it with other countrys to get money.it would be worse.do not know but i think that katrina swept all there money away so yes.
