Well, that actually happened to me in Oregon when I was a teenager.
Like an idiot, I tried to stop them and promptly got run over and dragged. It really cut up my back good. Never try to hold a running sheep! Wild animals (and farm ones) are much stronger than humans pound per pound. |

The chances of sheep chasing you to do harm are very slim. If this does happen it's probably a case of you running in the same direction they are. Change direction, if they still follow drop anything that could resemble grass.
Now, horses chasing you is a totally different story! |

I would sprint towards the nearest cliff. Then, right before reaching the edge, I would dive down and cover my head. Naturally, the sheep would storm right over me and plunge to a bone-crushing death.
Thank God I read somewhere that humans have better braking power than sheep. |

Ok this doesn't have alot to do with your question. But when I read this it made me think of something I heard on the news 2night... I live in Mesa, AZ. And while I was watching/listening to all the crazy news stories...I over heard that the "Mesa Public Fire Chief"...was caught with his pants down...alone with a real live sheep. He admited to having intercourse with the sheep...EeeeWWWW!...He's being charged with indecient exposur. I thought they'd also charge him with animal crulty...but they didn't...maybe the sheep gave consent. (haha) Ewww.... Neways- I thought I'd jus through that out there.... Honestly, I mean Honestly, I'd rather be chased by a heard of sheep! LOL...Gross HUH?! |
