after paying taxes...i would take some of that money and pay off the mortgages on my siblings/inlaws homes (anonymously!)
then i would take some and go to a spa for a month and get pedicured, manicured, massaged and exercised! finishing up with a fantastic shopping spree thru nyc!
after that there should be about 12 dollars left which i would invest in the stock market. |

if i won i would well first put some away to save and let it gain interest for my kids college fund. I would pay all my bills off. Help out my family who have lost there house and are struggling right now because of Katrina, and with whatever i had left, go on a vacation. I would also try to donate some money...I'm sure everyone says that...but there are some good things you could do with money. Hey you didn't have it before right, so why not do something for someone else when you do have it.

I would use about 10% for gifts to my family and something nice for myself. I would then invest the rest and take only a portion of the interest earned each year as a supplement to my income. $900,000 at 5% interest will pay you $45,000 after the first year and if you take half of that for yourself and re-invest the rest then each year after that you will be able to draw even more. |

Well, if I had a million dollars, I would first buy my parents a new house and pay off all their bills so they would no longer be in debt. I would buy the land that my friend and her husband want to buy and pay someone to build their house that they want so they won't have to worry about money to support themselves and their children. I would buy my other friend's a house. I would buy myself a new/used car (nothing fancy). Then if I had anything left I would build new and better homeless shelters and provide a system where people, for people who really want the help, to get job training and placements. I can't think of anything else right now .... hope that's enough |
