Actually, a million bucks ain't what it used to be. I'd invest the whole amount and learn to live on the interest. I'd probably continue working, and reinvest some of the interest to make the principal grow even more. Remember -- the interest on a million dollars at 6% is only $60,000/year. It's hardly a sum to live lavishly on. |

I would pay off every debt of mine and my fiancee's. Finish school (nursing), and buy a house a new car for me and my fiancee. Pay for my wedding, shop, take a vacation. Give 100,000 to my parents, some to my siblings (2). And finally invest and save what's left. |

what I would do is to change the capital gain of the million to passive cash flow. That why people say they will invest in buying properties. The rich knows that with properties , you can get cashflow indefinitely and lower your taxes, if you know what you are doing.You can also buy businesses (turnkey) and stocks that give dividends but i think properties are the best. |
