I'd like to see my daughter Julie, who I haven't seen since last Monday. She's in Barcelona today. I'm glad she is there, seeing sights and experiencing people and cultures outside the US. That is tremendously important. But there is definitely something missing in my world with her away! She just got braces, and I want to see that huge tin grin in the morning. Julie can always be counted on to have a big smile on a Sunday morning, and being on the receiving end of that smile is just about a perfect way to start off my day. (Note: Huge smile is only present on Saturday and Sunday mornings during the school year!!) |

I would love to wake up and see a steady rain coming down outside. I would also love hearing it hit the windowpane beside my bed. It's been way too long since we've had a nice, steady rain here, and I really miss it. The thought of snuggling down in bed, looking out the window, seeing and hearing the rain, sounds like pure bliss to me! |
