you don't mean 1:30am on weekends and 11:00pm on weekdays,If that's the case I think that's pretty good, times have change when I was 14 years old i had to be in at 9:00pm on weekdays and 11:00pm on weekends. The world back then was crazy but not as bad as it is now. You should thank your parents. And count your blessings. |

YOUR PARENTS ARE WAY TOO LEANIENT WITH YOU IF I UNDERSTAND YOU CORRECTLY. DO YOU MEAN TO SAY YOUR PARENTS LET YOU STAY OUT UNTIL 1:30am ON WEEKENDS AND 11:00pm ON WEEKDAYS ? OH MY GOSH AT 14 YOU SHOULD NOT BE GOING ANYWHERE AFTER DARK. AND WHEN YOU DO GET TO GO SOMEWHERE LIKE SKATING MOVIES OR FRIENDS PARTIES YOU SHOULD BE SUPERVISED BY ANOTHER RESPONSIBLE ADULT OR IN A CONTROLED SETTING WHERE ADULTS ARE SUPERVISING. I NEVER LET MY KIDS STAY OUT THAT LATE.AFTER 16 IF THERE WAS A SPECIFIC ACTIVITY OR THEY HAD A DATE THEY HAD TO BE HOME BY MIDNIGHT ON WEEKENDS AND BY 9 WEEKDAYS IF THERE WAS A SPECIAL FUNCTION GOING ON. WEEKDAY FUNCTIONS HAD TO BE SCHOOL, CHURCH, OR 4H RELATED OR THEY DIDN'T LEAVE THE HOUSE.RARELY DID THEY GET TO GO ANYWHERE DURING THE WEEK. WITH YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW STRICT YOUR PARENTS ARE YOU CAN COUNT YOUR LUCKY STARS I'M NOT YOUR PARENT. MOST PEOPLE I KNOW HAVE RULES/CURFEW SUCH AS MINE.MY KIDS ARE ALL GROWN AND GONE NOW AND WE ARE VERY CLOSE THEY ARE WELL ADJUSTED AND HAPPY PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T GET PREGNANT OR HAVE ANY REAL ISSUES WITH DRUGS, ALCOHOL, OR INVOLVEMENT WITH GANGS OR LAW ENFORCEMENT. MY KIDS HAVE ALL THANKED ME FOR BEING THE PARENT I WAS AND THEY NOW UNDERSTAND WHY I HAD THE RULES I DID. EVEN THOUGH WHEN THEY WERE TEENAGERS THEY THOUGHT I WAS A CONTROL FREEK. GOOD LUCK TO YOU TRY TO STAY OUT OF TROUBLE AND BE HAPPY. |

Are you kidding 1:30 AM Your parents could be jailed if you get into trouble out and about and could be held for child endangerment, its the law. If you are under 18 legally in most states you must be in by 12 on the weekend and 10 during school night.
My son was in by 10 during school days and 12 midnight on weekends. Hope you don't get caught your parents will be in trouble. |

Stay home with the rest of the puppies and let the big dogs play at night. |

Any curfew your parents want to give you is fair since they feed you, shelter you, and deal with all your endless whining. Your parents do a lot for you, and the least you can do is respect their rules until you move out. |

sorry but if your talking about 1:30 am i think your parents are very lenient when i was 14 i had to be in bed by 8pm no exceptions at-least your parents love you enough to set boundaries some parents don't care at all count yourself lucky besides in most cities and towns I know of cities impose curfews on people under a certain age and allow few exceptions to the rule the best thing to do is talk with your parents so you can better understand their reasons behind your imposed curfew but personally if the time you quoted was in the late evening your parents trust you more than you think |

Sounds fair to me. You are only 14, and despite what you may think right now, you've got lots of growing to do. I can guarantee that I am not the same person I was when I was 14 (that was 8 years ago). You need wisdom to manage a later curfew. I suspect that you don't quite have it yet. |

That's pretty late for a 14 yr. old. I'd say midnight on wknds & 10pm on wk nights. |

WOW they are liberal. My 14 year old IF he is out on theweekend is in by 10:30 and MAYBE 11:00. During the week 8:00. Push back the times. No. Take time away. And for it being not fair. It is a PRIVIALGE that you get to stay out that late, not a right. |

WELL IS THAT 1 30 AM OR PM SOUNDS LIKE AM TO ME CHIT BE GREATFUL U GET THAT CURFEW OUT HERE IN CALI WHERE IM AT IF U ARE UNDER 18 AND NOT WITH A PARENT OR LEGAL GARDIAN U HAVE TO BE IN BY 10PM . I HAVE 5 KIDS STILL LIVING AT HOME ADN 2 ARE 17 THEY HAVE TO BE IN BY 10 EVERY NIGHT NO MATTER WHAT UNLESS THERE WITH ME OR THERE DAD , AS FOR MY 13 YEAR OLD , 12 YEAR OLD ADN 10 YEAR OLD THEY HAVE TO BE IN THE YARD WHEN IT GETS DARK SO BE GREATFULL YOUR PARENTS LET U OUT THAT LATE CAUSE THERES ALOT OF PARENTS OUT HERE WHO LIKE MY SELF KEEP A TIGHT LEASH ON THERE KIDS , BEFORE MY KIDS GO ANYWHERE I MAKE SURE THERE IS AN ADULT THERE AND I DONT MEAN A 20 YEAR OLD I MEAN THE PARENT OF THE KIDS THERE GONNA BE WITH . AT 14 U HAVE ALOT OF FREEDOM IF YOU WANT YOUR PARENTS TO PUSH BACK THE TIMES A LITTLE WELL THEY CAN ALWAYS GO BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS WHEN THEY WERE KIDS OR EVEN WHEN THERE PARENTS WERE KIDS , WHEN I WAS YOUNGER AND IM ONLY 39 I HAD TO BE IN THE HOUSE BY DARK , SO BE GREATFULL ADN SHOW YOUR PARENTS THAT THE TIME THEY GAVE U IS GOOD ENOUGH ADN BE HOME ON TIME ADN THEY MAY EXTEND THE TIME AS LONG AS YOUR IN ONTIM ALL THE TIME AND DONT ABUSE YOUR PRIVALEGES ADN DONT GET IN TROUBLE, |

Your curfew should be alot earlier than that. You are too young to be out that late. There is too much for you to get into. |

Check your local laws, you may be required to be home much sooner than your parents think. In most cities, if you are stopped by a policeman after curfew, you can get in real trouble. At 14, I had to be home at 9 weekdays, 11 weekends. Our small town here requires anyone under 18 (not under adult supervision) to be home by 11. I am actually very amazed at the 1:30 mark for weekends! |

All parents are different... but you definitely have a later curfew than I did at your age. I think my best curfew was midnight when I was 18, but it was definitely 10:00 for a long while. Even now when I'm home (I'm 21), they tend to want me home by 1:00 or so... so is life with your parents :) Hang in there. |

whats wrong with that? i believe 130 is to late for a 14yr old to be in the streets so i think it should be 11pm on weekends and 1030 during week. to much **** happens when kids are in the streets after dark, if you lived where i live you wouldnt want to be out after dark and if you were you are a target cuz these bastards up here would not care what time it was and how old you are if these motherdogshits want to the will str8 f u up they just hit a 10 yr old boy while he was walking home about 9pm one night and now he will not see his next birthday |
