If you are looking for high demand, good benefits and reasonable middle class income--try becoming a Physical therapist. They are really in demand. You have to have patience and enjoy people, yet have the ability to motivate them.
Also, RNs are in demand if you can handle the long shifts, hard work, and barely minimum recognition. Not to mention the goo. But it is also in demand, good benefits, and will support you well.
If you want upper class income, good luck, unless you are born into it--well, not really. There is architecture, MD, professor at prestigious college, scientist, or performing artist or athlete (the last two take talent). |

If you like health care and have a year to learn.
LVN or Licensed Vocational Nurses start at $15.00 to $17.00/hr, nationwide. Many "NEWBIES" get overtime as well.
Another options is working at a call center for Blue Cross & Blue Shield or a Cell phone company. They pull in about $10.00 to $13.00 per hour and all you really need is some people skill (communication skills) and type about 40 to 60 words per minute.
I worked at BCBS and earned $15.37/hr after 7 month on the job. Neiman Marcus, a catalog shopping company has call takers in Dallas, TX making $17.00 per hr. taking order from their catalog. |

Forget going after money as goal number one. Figure out what you like to do, because getting wealthy either takes extreme luck, or hard work and dedication over a long period of time. The latter being most likely, do what you like, become great at it, become qualified in it, and the money will follow. |
