In my opinion, the best cell phone company is noonoe at all, I bought a prepaid cell phone at wal=mart for $20 then you buy the minutes to put on it,,,no bills no contracts,,I love it and would never go back to a company...God bless |

I personally have US Cellular and it is really great! I have a plan called Talk Tracker, which is prepaid. All of my incoming calls are free! I can call from 9pm to 7 Am for free too. Also all weekends and holidays are also free!
The coverage area also seems to be really great too!
The best part of my plan is, there is NO CONTRACT!
Definitely US CELLULAR! I live in Bluefield (south eastern WV) and my husband and I had to go to Morgantown, we were still local hon!
I pay $55 per month and have 500 daytime minutes. With he free incoming calls if I want to talk for a while during the day, I have the person give me a call back! =0)
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT!
As for the pre-paid phones from Wal-Mart, my husband and I have 2 of them, nice for emergencies but there are certain draw-backs to them. If this is going to be your choice, Virgin Mobile is the best one, sold at most Wal-Marts and Radio Shacks.
By the way, my husband and I have no home phone, we only operate with our US CELLUAR phones! =0) Plus there plan set up is easy to check your minutes. Also long distance calls ad local calls are all the same! =0)

NOT CINGULAR!!!!! i never know when im going to have reception but i travel alot and when i get out of major cities i tend to find alot of dead spots
i know through the wheeling and beckley areas i had no coverage at all with cingular just drove through there last week |

From my own experience, Sprint has the best reception, but occasionally I encounter billing problems. Verizon has good reception too, but its costumer service leaves a lot to be desired. Concerning Cingular and T-mobile, my peers complain about their reception often. My conclusion: go for Sprint. |
