I started off thinking that Microsoft would be the one but although our Mr Gates is allegedly the richest man in the world, does that make his company the most profitable?
We have to remember here that 'turnover' and 'profit' are two entirely different things.
Oil seems to be pretty profitable at the moment.
Are you looking for gross profit or percentage profit? There could be a very small company with a small turnover that has an excellent profit margin.
I suspect that there is an Eastern Promise here. Try Sheik Mohammad of Dubai (now I believe King of Dubai) who has a string of horses in this country.
