To enjoy life while you can, raise a family to continue the species and your legacy, and try to make the world a better place for said family. |

You're quality of life depends on that. Only you can make the best of it, and it is entirely up to you if you want to be happy doing whatever you want to do, or be sad by not doing anything productive at all. |

Life is what you make of it, with children and the affects you have on others. Everyone of us has a perpose in life, although we may not understand it at the time. We may be here to affect someone else in life or influence our children to make change. |

Honestly I think a lot of people ask this question. Sometimes the answer turns people to religion but simply WE, and everything else here on earth, is part of a great cycle of life and death.
Naturally our only REAL instinct or purpose is to thrive and survive. The important thing is that unlike some life forms...or ex-girlfriends...we have a consciousness, an idea of self, an opportunity to do more that just survive.
Life is what you make it. Take advantage of it while you can, it passes by too fast. Live honest, live well, help others and you can't go wrong. |

Therein lies the origin of religion. See religion came about to give people a purpose in life, which is to love and serve a god. And in doing so, they would be granted life after death in a heaven. But it seems that religion has become a brilliant marketing scheme, some reverends live in houses that many actors would kill for. But the way I see it, humans are too self-important to realize that we are nothing more than decaying organic matter waiting to lose our "spark." Life may seem pretty pointless, but you only experience it once. And I say why not enjoy as many things as possible before you die. Another thing is that people should know, not fear, but know that some day they are going to die. Maybe then people would be more practical and purposeful with their lives instead of working as slaves to pay off debts and consuming. |
