are they new? If so, you may have the wrong prescription. In either case, see your eye professional |

It may be that you have the wrong type of contacts. I can't wear my contacts (soft) all day because my eyes start to burn as well. If youu're using hard contacts, ask your optometrist about switching to soft (or vice versa) |

before you see an eye docter..
ask yourself theses questions.
How long have i been wearing them?
Is it time to change it?
How bad does it hurt?

you might not be able to were contacts or your eyes are dry. you also might be allergic to the solution that you are using to clean them in talk to your eye doctor about it he might suggest something for you if you have sensitive eyes. |

No, start taking them out every now and then and put them into your solution and if that don't work try to see a doctor. |

no, its not normal. u probably need to clean them or something. If they're hard contacts then they're gonna suck! I had some hard contacts and they bothered for a whole year. Eventually I got rid of them and got soft contacts. |

I wear soft contacts and they only burn if I've been wearing my glasses for a long time and then insert contacts into my eye--burns for about a minute. If it's really cold they'll do that too. If it gets late at night they get dry and I put drops in them and that keeps them from burning.
So continual burning is bad, but if it's just a once in a while thing, then just deal with it I guess ;) |

are you new to wearing contacts? could be you just need to get used to wearing them. sometimes the solution i used would cause my eyes to sting. try switching that, or making sure they aren't excessively drenched in the solution when you go to put them in (try holding them for a second or two and gently shaking them) |

Absolutely NOT. Go to your eye doctor immedietely!!! This is very serious. keep on putting Visine into your eyes to keep them moist whenever they burn. Your eyes are probably too dry. |
