Easter! the real essence of easter are not eggs or bunnies. Easter is suppose to remind us that Jesus Christ, on Easter morning, the third day after his crucifixion, rose from the dead. Lent is the celebration of His passion and death....when I said celebration, I didn't mean like a party. It's a celebration in the sense that His passion and death are our reminders of our sinfulness and that it was Christ who had to suffer in our behalf. Easter is the day of triumph when Jesus rises from the dead... a sign of hope for everyone to know that we will also rise from the dead and will have eternal life....in the presence of GOD.
