every school is different. Find out what extracurricular activities are considered cool. If they interest you too, join them. That way you can have fun and make friends. If they don't interest you, find an extracurricular activity you do like and join them. It's still a great way to make friends. You can join clubs not associated with school also. You don't have to focus on people at school. You can be popular, or just well liked outside of school. If you do become popular, do it by being friendly to everyone. Otherwise, you may be popular, but really commonly hated. |

why would you want to be popular. All the popular kids are all the same, they dress, talk, and sometimes look the same. Most of them are snobs. Their friends hate them, they don't have many true friends. I don't know you personally, but being myself has always worked for me. I like my small group of REAL friends...and that's all I need. |

I would suggest that if you want to get to know people you should show your inner beauty (i.e. your intelligence), you could start by learning how to spell. I also suggest trying to be funny, like pointing out the misfortunes of others. My last piece of advice is to get off your computer and have actual human interaction; friends on the internet are not real, and probably unsafe. Try joining a sport or an academic club, good luck. |

You should try to look really, really hott and observe what the girls have at this new school, and then try to copy them and u will be popular in no time! but being popular is so over-rated!! its not what its chocked up to be. where i go, theres no such thing as popular. everyone just gets along fine and thats how we all like it! Try to be nice 2 ever1 in the new school!!! |

First, you gotta see who is all in the different groups at the school. When that is finished make a decision on what group you would like to be a part of. Be as nice as possible, and do what you can to fit in. The best way to do this is to just be yourself. If that doesn't work do something to give yourself attention. |

being popular is not everything. would you rather have a whole group of false friends or a small group of real friends that will always have your back? think about it, but i guess if you're so despret(sp) to fit in w/ the preps that everyone hates than just be really girly or you could just be yourself and be popular in your own group of ppl :) |
