I was sorry I loan a ex friend a blouse, she got it so smelly evr after washing it it still smelled gross so I throw it away because I knew she did it to keep the blouse.She had a habit of not taking care of clothes if one let her wear it because she was the jealous type and if it's distroyed after she's worn it u don't want it back, she gets to keep it. |

For some reason when I loan something to a friend or family member I never see it again. I've lost DVDs, books, video games, hair dryers, and clothes this way. Makes you not want to trust people with your stuff. |

When I left to go to grad school my then-girlfriend was really scared that we'd drift apart or that I'd find someone new. I gave her my very favorite shirt so she could sleep w/ it & think of me & just to have a piece of me close to her. Well...a couple years later SHE found someone new & dumped me. I boxed up all the stuff of hers that I had & sent it to her just a few days after we broke up. However, it was like pulling teeth to try to get my ex to send my stuff back. When she finally came through w/ it, my favorite shirt had basically been ripped to shreds. What happened was she had lied about our relationship to a friend of hers. She thought she needed a better excuse for dumping me, so she told her friends that I was awful to her & all this crap. So her friend took my shirt out of anger @ me & totally destroyed it. *Sigh* I loved that shirt, but am glad to be rid of the girl. |

I loaned a book that I saved my allowance for as a kid to my so called friend at the time. The book came back warped because she spilled water or something on it, and the cover was bent, and so were some of the pages in the book. I was so angry because I worked hard on my chores so I could save up money to buy books from the book orders. I remember sucking it up like it was no big deal in front of her, but when I went home, I broke down and cried for a long time. My mom told me not to lend her anything again. |
