Personally I hope so. It's basically the same and it'll be so easy to travel and avoid getting ripped off.
Eventually it will make sense.
For the forseable future the pound is only going to decrease in value.
The euro continues to rise.
I think it's very unlikely that public opinion will ever favour the euro but that never stopped the UK government doing anything before! |

I think that UK should stay with the pound sterling! I lived in Germany, they changed from deutsche Mark to Euros and it was the worst thing that could ever happen! Germany has gone down a long shot since the euro! |

When we start to drive on the right hand side of the road!
Tell Stephanie that Gordon Brown (as Chancellor) devalued our gold reserves already when he announced months in advance that he was going to sell off our gold and guess what, the price fell thru' the floor, stupid Gordon! |

Not presently...but they'll have to eventually!!
It'll be fantastic for Ireland when they do as their biggest trade partners.
But the euro is a strong currency, it makes Europe as an entity sooooo much stronger afterall your only as strong as your weakest link:) |

Sooner or later they will. Every time you change money it costs money and UK businesses will want to save on the constant exchanges. As a business person I seek to avoid doing business in Sterling as I may have to deal with currency adjustments between going to contract and reconciling an invoice.
One pound sterling will be worth about one euro fifty (more or less). |

With luck we'll get that promised referendum on it, and if enough immigrants keep their noses out, we'll all say NO ! |
