Yes you can pay it into your bank, but I would keep hold of them, the bank or travel agent will rip you off, go and spend a week in Greece, use your cash there, you will get more for it, teh kanate? poli kala, yassou. |

Yes - just pay it into your bank if you're not going to use the Euros. It's always good to have some Euros in cash to use when travelling. |

post office, or, if you're in central london, take a walk around the tourist traps (oxford street, shaftsbury ave, etc) and you'll see plenty of 'bureau de change' who are all competing with each other to offer the best rates |

Why not play the money market ?
US dollars are on the up against the euro.
Could turn 700 euros into 750 within a day or two.
Call a transfer broker.

if you pay it into you bank you will get charged about 2% or more to change it. change it up 1st at a foreign currency place like thomas cook adn pay it in in sterling. |
