Where can I find a notary on my lunch break? How much do they cost?
Do most banks have them? Do they charge you a fee - if so how much for just one paper? What if it is a bank I have an account at? Anywhere to go to get things notarized for free?
Most banks have them and don't charge a fee. Don't sign it before you get there because they have to watch you sign it before they can notarize it. Many grocery stores also have a notary at their customer service counter- I believe they charge a small fee like $3. Your best bet is your bank- and they'll notarize as many items as you have.

A notary can be found the premisis of any Registrar office, Municipal office, Corporation office, Court premises, etc.
They charge an amount ranging from Rs.100 to Rs.300 based on the info which the person is going to give an affidavit on.

Most banks and government offices have notary services. Most
banks do not charge a fee if you have an account with them.
If a fee is charged it ranges from $2.00 to $5.00 normally. I best
thing to do is call a branch that is close to where you work. A law office will also have a notary but most of them charge.

Check with where you do your banking. They usually charge, but ask how much. Also if you belong to a Credit Union, sometimes it's cheaper than a bank. Escrow/Title companies have notaries too.

Most banks have a notary on staff, and most often if you have an account with that bank there is no fee
