We love to go to Northern Calif. The bay area. There is so much to do and see. I love Muir Woods, the forest is spectacular, it is such a wonder. Then the beaches with their tide pools and endless exploring. The life found in the rocks. The feel of the ocean tugging at your feet as the waves roll back to sea. The Monteray Bay Aquarium with all the really cool sea life and the living sea kelp beds.
And who can pass up seeing the wharf and eating the famous sourdough bread fresh and warm. The sights the smells and no TV just time as a family walking and seeing the beauties that our GOD has created and sharing our goals and inspirations as a family. Laughing, as the kids run up the beach with a new found treasure. It just doesn't get any better. We can sit and watch the sunsets and the waves crash against the rocks for hours and never get bored.
It also makes going home great because even though it's so amazing there really is no place like home. |

Well, have you been to Cape Town or Pretoria nice and warm. If South Africa does not do it for you can you try Mombasa in Kenya or Labadi beach in Ghana - beautiful Took the kids last christmas and it was wonderful. Will be visiting Kruger National Park this christmas. You could try that? |
