Call the store and ask. I think they go to the State Auditors office. Call the Auditor / Treasurers office and inquire. |

Contact Kroger headquarters...i think they are in Cincinnati:
The Kroger Co.
Customer Relations
1014 Vine Street
Cincinnati, Ohio 45202-1100
, give them the store location where you worked and the start and end date of your employment. Unless you left oweing them (uniforms, training, borrowed vacation) they should give you what you are owed.
If you have your old W2 it may have the adress.
Good Luck! |

Just write a letter saying that you" Had to go very urgently .Otherwise i would have continued. As such i request you kindly send my outstanding check amount"

After 3 or 4 months they go to the state. You will have to go through unclamed property to get it back. |

unclaimed checks eventually go to the state but after a period of 12-24 months in some companies... it's referred to as the escheatment process. Each state has a web site with these assets. |

My sister found one of hers here, and I found money for other family members here too. |

usually, paychecks are only good for 90 days, then they become void. the only way to find out if they allow unclaimed checks to be re-printed and valid would be to call the corporate office and ask someone in bookkeepping. |

they are still supposed to give you your check! why wouldn't you want it? and what they do if it' unclaimed is I think cancel the check and save the money. i think there's a time limit before they do this. |

As far as I know, all the companies that I have worked for hold them for a certain amount of time (not sure how long, but I'm thinking about 3 or 6 months), then mail them to the last address on file. After that, I'm not sure. But if it's been 2 or 3 years, you are probably out of luck. I would try contacting the company directly, though, just to be sure. |
