Best Buy........We were assured at the store we purchased a product that since they were "Nation wide" that if this item gave us any problem we should go to any other store and they would exchange for new product of same or lessor value, or if we paid the dif for a more expensive product.
We are full time RV'ers and are constantly in different places.
When we took the item in question to the next store, with the sales slip and original box , the works, they told us to "get real" that no stores honored other stores promises...
We have NEVER had this problem with any other chain of stores. And because we will never set foot in another "Best Buy" won't ever have a problem with them, I just NEVER miss a chance to tell the world that they LIED to us...... Thank you for letting me "kick" BB one more time...... |

I made a payment for long distance that should have gone to local phone charges and they couldn't make the change, I couldn't contact them on the phone tree, I kept getting routed back to the local service who couldn't handle it. My bank faxed them the payment information twice and they still claimed they never got it. Finally my bank said the heck with it and refunded me the money, I still went for a month without phone service, even after paying off the bill, which they were sending to an email address from a company that had gone out of business a year earlier.
Then Allstate said they would insure me, took an automatic deposit from my bank, claimed I didn't give them all the paperwork, when I did and the error was actually a bank error. Then they canceled my insurance, wrote me to ignore the cancellation and canceled it again. Then they told me that I was going to get a refund and never paid it, but they kept charging me for a policy that didn't exist. When I finally got everything straightened out they refused to renew my insurance because I had gone for more than 30 days without insurance. Then after all of that they gave me my refund. |

Sears-bought upright freezer that had bad defrost cycle from the factory. ruined full load of food, company refused to reimburse even though it said specifically in the warranty that they would.
Lowe's-never special order doors there. garage door shipped with wrong track, 2.5 months to replace. $4000 worth of interior doors left out in rain in receiving department by employee, ruined everything with water stains then they had the gall to call me up afterward and tell me they were ready to pick up, so I drive 50 miles. any special order metal exterior door will have numerous dents and scratches from their idiots banging them around.
Home Depot-be careful with their return policy, they can and will refuse to take back any item at any time for any reason or no reason whatsoever |
