Surprisingly, they are both on the road. You see, heaven is taking a long road trip in a two seat convertible driving through majestically beautiful places in the company of an astoundingly beautiful and intelligent woman.
Hell, on the other hand, is in the daily commute during rush hour. |

Heaven is up beyond the clouds; its where the good people go when they die. Children often talk about their granparents going to heaven, and that they want to go there too. Its their way of saying they miss them. To get into Heaven is not a fore-gone conclusion. You need to have essentially been a good person, all your life. The odd mistake, fine, but if you are able to see your wrongs, and ask for forgiveness, and not do it again, the likelyhood is you will go to Heaven.
St Peter will be waiting for you at the Pearly Gates, where he will welcome you to Heaven, and you will go through the gates, and be reunited with all the people you have known, and would want to see again, who have already passed. Heaven is like paradise. No rain, beautiful sunshine, and just exquisite.
Hell, on the other hand, is down below. Perhaps deep in the earth, near the core? Its hot, and dark, and firey, and generally, you would get no peace at all. There would be things to constantly provoke you and annoy you, and there would be nothing you could do about it. You would go to hell if you had been bad during your life, and had not tried to repent. I think if you only did one semi bad thing, you might not go to hell, if you were able to repent, at the Pearly Gates, but if you were a murderer, and didnt seek forgiveness, then the chances are you would go down below!
Everyone's opinion is different, but this is mine. Hope it helps! |
