Wow! Money hungry bastards out there...can't lend a hand. That's why we're all going to hell, because we don't help each other. |

Why do they want to get paid??? It's not like they were hired for a service. When people help each other out, it should be out of kindness and consideration and therefore should not expect to be rewarded financially. It is really sad that this is what's happening with the world. It's hard and rare to see someone selflessly offering help to people in need without thinkin of money and of themselves. Where have they gone? |

What kind of a jerk would stop to help someone change a tire and then expect to get paid? What an *** hole. |

Wow, that's crazy,,I'd tell them, hey I didn't wave you down and beg you to do this...you don't have an obligation to pay them, people are supposed to act out of kindness... |

ask for the price and reasonable price is what i mean! |

You should just pay them the amount of money you think is appropriate. |

Just pay them, but don't let them cheat much on pricing ! |

You don't have to pay them unless they told you about it before they started. It would be nice to tip them, but you're not obligated. |

Slice their tires, help them fix the flat and tell them YOU want to get paid. |

Tell them "sure, my wallets in my glove box." get in your car and drive away!! |

The line is here: They should not expect to get paid but you should expect to pay them for their service. Good manners work both ways. |

What happened to being a good samaritan? If someone stops to assist you with a flat tire and it costs them nothing to provide assistance, a thank you should suffice. If you feel like offering a tip or gratuity that should be up to you and hopefully in most cases would be refused. If they don't start the conversation with, "Hi I'll change that for you for $5...." it should not be expected after the fact. |
