I have always heard that girls potty train faster but my mother-in-law swears my brother-in-law was potty trained at 18 months. My daughter is 22 months old and is still not potty trained. I would have to say it depends on the child. Some children hate having wet bottoms - some on the other hand would rather have a 5 pound diaper than to stop playing to go to the potty. |

It has been my experience that little boys are easier to potty train. You can send them outside to pea on a tree which delights them. You can't do that with a little girl.
The have to sit on the potty, and they get distracted and bored with the whole process. |

girls tend to be more intellegent. my daughter was pottie trained at one year and a half, my two sons took until two and a half and three to do it. us women do everything quicker u don't know that. lol |

Having three girls of my own and 26 nieces and nephews, I must say that the girls seem to be easier. It seems that way but may not necessarily be true in all cases. All children are different with different personalities. It is very hard to say, but I am leaning towards a little girl. |

it has nothing to do with the sex of a child it just depends on how you teach them if you spend alot of time teachin them they will learn quicker like do every 15 min take them to the bathroom and they will learn at the same speed |
