none in the US...

I'm shocked at the names of some of the companies listed here - they would not strike me as candidates for environmental responsibility.

Certainly these companies fit my criteria:

Whole Foods Markets
US Environmental Protection Agency
Johnson & Johnson
Starbucks

Pepsi because they help keep up trees and buy areas so that nobody can chop down the trees. They also try to reduce pollution, even though they have mass production.

Ikea is excellent. They use solar power to power their stores and are very environmentally conscious. They also are run by charity and just an overall Fantastic company. (And No I don't work for them, just a avid customer) If you haven't been to an Ikea store I suggest you check it out. Its like spending the day at an amusement park. As soon as you walk in they have a large counter showing how much energy the sotre has saved so far by operating on solar power. Check their website too. There is a lot of info there.

The Gas & Oil Companies. Living in North of 60 in Alberta, I have flown by helicopter into the Oil and Gas fields and they should be applauded for the efforts and expense they go too when a rig leaves the site and the well is capped. Not only is the area where the well is leveled and left clean in all aspects of the job. Even the roads into the Oil Patch are radio controlled and go by policies when they leave an area and Environmental policies have an extra high priority. Members of my family work in the Oil Patch, and we see first hand what is going on out there.
