I no longer get calls from repeat callers here is what I did.
The telemarketer called and asked for myself and I asked who they were. They had called so many times that week. I asked for her name. First and Last her company asked her to state her business one more time. Demanded a address and phone number Thanked her and told her she would be hearing from my lawyer for harassment and told her if she did not remove me from the calling list I would be able to charge her double. In our state if you have asked repeatedly to removed even if they are a non profit organization you can actually sue them. They are not worth my time to sue but I have not had any call from the companies I have done this to and my phone is much quieter.
The do not call list does not block non profit so calling your TPS does not work. I had a friend send me this it was so great you have to listen to it. click on the link below and sit for a few. |

Once you ask a company to take you off their list it is a violation of the law for them to call you again. You might want to remind the telemarketer of this if they are a repeat caller. It might be easier to put yourself on the National Do Not Call Registry, which will prohibit telemarketers from calling your home for 5 years. The term "Telemarketer" does not include telephone surveyors, political organizations, charities, and companies you have a business relationship with (meaning you've bought something from them). But it will stop random companies from cold calling you.
Once you are on the registry you can report any violators to the FTC. |

if they do call again I bet they will panic if you even mention your with TPS |

https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx It works. There is a time frame in which they have to get the updated list so you may get a few calls for a while. If it does not stop contact your attorney general. My states attorney general deals with that I dont know about yours. |

Talk dirty to them over the phone. They will eventually stop calling. Just breathe heavy and say, "ohh.. what are you wearing?" and then ask, "sooo... do you like your peaches and pineapple mixed together?"
Dont get angry- Dont yell- Just be very nasty and perverted. |

If you are in the UK you can block these types of calls through BT ..just contact them and ask for them to stop call centres and sales people from calling you .It takes about a month to be set up but after that you will be 95% nuisance call free!(and its free for you) |

Get yourself on the Telephone Preference Service. You can do this easily by ringing BT Sales on 150. Once on the TPS if a company calls you then they are breaking the law and you can tell them so. |

Register your phone number with the donotcall registry and then report people that don't honor that. It's $10,000 per call after you are in the list. |
