There should be a contact number for the money order issuer. Call the number to validate the money order. Pretty easy really. |

Contact the currency exchange on the money orders. U.S. Postal money orders are guranteed legitimate.
Here's a hint. If your friend has to "put up money" to get the money, IT'S A SCAM! |

Bet it's a scam. Contact the company that issues them. a local bank and the police. If someone wants her to cash them and return cash. she's about to get ripped off bigtime; go directly to the police.
No kidding and no joke; if someone mailed her money orders to cash and return funds, it's a total scam and you need to go directly to the police NOW. |

1) Contact the agent(Bank, Western Union, Currency Exchange, Post Office, etc) about the authenticity of the Money Order.
2) Check with the bank where She(your friend) is banking with. Banking institutions will definitely help you regarding these things. (After all, you are their customer, and they handle your money(friend's money)).
Hope this helps. Best of luck. |

It depends if it says postal take it to the post office I said that and it was dumb. But you're bank can tell you 99.9 percent of the time. Now you ask this question WHY. is it not from someone you know or some one that is suppose to be sending you one if not and its for something you're selling go to the bank and they have a way to verify be for cashing,Some money orders/most /all have a name or number if found because if people don't get what they ordered you can call the M O people to see if cashed. And if selling stuff watch out for ones that send more than what it cost and tell you send them the left over.Sorry for long story ONCE burned |

Contact the place on the money order. The person who printed it out, the currency exchange or bank that issued it. |

Try asking the bank. They will probably tell you whether or not it is. So try. |

try and deposit them, but wait 7-10 days to use the money until you're sure the bank didn't refuse them |

When I got a money order from a company I just took it in to the bank and they cashed it and told me to wait like a week to see if they were real. If they ended up being fake then they would just take the money that they were worth out of my account. The one thing never to do is to cash them and spend the money before they clear. |
