Jimmy Carter was much worse. The U.S. economy was in shambles. We had double digit inflation (that's right, inflation over 10%) and interest rates were somewhere around 12%.
One of his self-described "accomplishments" was to give away the Panama Canal to Panama for nothing in return. |

My guess would be about 80% of the "free world" not including USA, think that Bush is the worst ever president...but thats just an outside perspective. |

Bush just inherited the job, took it down to a new low, and had to rebuild it to a new level and by rebuilding it claims to be rebuilding the country...the real problem isn't Bush, its Sept. 11...thats what tore the country down and forced Bush to rebuild |

The question is who doesn't. If you don't think he's the worst...you're not paying attention. For example, when have you ever known the car companies to lay off the way they are now having to?? When people aren't making money, they can't buy cars...it's a domino effect. |

There is no right answer for this question. It is a matter of opinion. The answer you pick to be number one is likely not going to be, by any stretch right. YA! is not a poll. It is a knowledge base. Most people don't even know enough about former presidents to answer this question. One resigned, and another was impeached. How could a president in good standing, though unpopular be worse than one that was impeached? Time to think for yourselves people. Educate yourself before you ask such an ignorant question. |

If he's not the worst, he's in the top two....Here's a man who came into office with a balanced budget and a finanacial surplus and in just one term has the largest deficit in history, committed an unprovoked attack on another country, and taken away fundamental rights with the patriot act......lucky for our democracy he can't become dictator. |

I believe that he is the worst president ever. The amount of blatant corruption in his administration is abhorrent. The republican party, under his control feels that they can violate laws & engage in acts of treason without rebuke. The next three cannot go fast enough. |

All of our presidents have been good. They just go from different focal points and come from different ideologies. If Mr. Bush shared the same political ideologies as Mr. Clinton wouldn't you want him in your party? |

Definitly not the worst..but if he keeps allowing illegal immigrants into this country to steal our jobs and abuse our health care system..then i will change my mind. I go to work everyday and pay my taxes and my company does not offer health care and i cant afford it. But if i was an illegal immeigrant i could have all the free govt health care i wanted. Somethings wrong with that picture |
