This seems excessively prideful but I dont' know how else to put it. Our existence is purely to glorify God. We can't comprehend this because our minds were created by a higher being and thus we cannot expect to be as smart as our creator but God is the only thing in the universe worthy of eternal praise and devotion. |

Good one....We were taught in my early years of schooling in the catholic religion this way. The teacher would ask "Why did God Make Us? " and the answer we were given was "God made us to know Him and to love Him in this world and to be happy with Him in the next " That was a fundamental teaching in the catholic religion when I was going to parochial school. Each religion , and there are many , has their own answer to that question . |
