The Jews have got a family tradition of HARD WORK as a means to success. Most of them stay in school and most families think college is important. They reap the rewards.
You could do it, too, but I doubt you have the will. It would require staying in school and actually working for a living. Much easier to think there is a conspiracy to keep you at minimum wage. |

Not to offend you, but i know a lot people that think that way. They even thought I was Jew..LOL... One letter in my last name can move me from being Jew to being German, and I have moved it a few times back and forth in order to suit my needs. Did you also know that the Census shows more Mexicans than they really are here in the US?.. They have found out that 90% of Filipinos have the same last names as Mexicans and in order to get Jobs in the USA they became .... Mexicans. City Of San Francisco found this out a few years ago when all the Mexicans working for the city did not look Mexican nor ate tacos.
If you look deep into the most successful people, you will find that it is a great mix.

I'm not so sure that they do. However, they value education and I believe that, on the whole, they are intelligent and not afraid of working hard. Why have so many been given high level, public jobs? Probably because we have been fortunate enough to have had many presidents who are color, racial, age, sex & religiously blind. They are simply looking to find the best person for the job as are most people. By the way - I am a christian. I can't believe that anyone would ask the question you have asked. |

This goes way, way back. In the Middle Ages the Jews were forbidden to own farmland or enter most of the professions. But at the time "usury" -- charging interest on loans -- was not permitted by the Roman Church to its followers. Jews were allowed to make loans this way, because the Church didn't care if they went to hell. After a couple of hundred years of practice, the Jews were so good at it that they could nearly corner the market on the loan business -- which meant that they had a long head start when modern banking began. In short, they are strong in the financial field because the dumb medieval Christians wouldn't let them do anything else profitable! |

Even if you think you're paying a compliment, you aren't. It's like saying Asians are really smart and do well in school - sounds nice, but actually is destructive stereotyping. A more blatant example is the old one about how African-Americans and other blacks all have great rhythm.
Worse, though, is your statement that "everything" in NYC is owned by the Jews. What do you mean by "everything"? It's ultimately an ugly and insensitive observation. |
