lol! Ever heard of banker's hours?
This is why it is great to have your paychecks electronically directly debited into your checking/savings account and do online banking on your computer. |

Get an account at washington mutual. I work there. we are open 9-6:00 m-f and 9-1 on sat. that way you can get ur banking done after work or you can come in on saturdays. |

Well...because they're at work too, have families and things to do just like you.
Seriously, what do you really need to do at the bank anyway? I NEVER EVER go to the bank - mail in deposits, bank online, etc. I don't even know when the last time I saw the inside of a bank was.
Does your work not give you time to do such things if you insist on 20th century banking? Maybe you should change jobs. |

you have a bank with bad hours, my bank has a branch with some evening hours, and several branches with Saturday morning hours...
don't you get a lunch break? How about using your break to run errands to your bank, etc, or to change banks. |

Because people work all kinds of hours and imagine how many robberies they would have if they were opened at night. |

Commerce bank is open everyday. |

What are your working hours? Most banks around where I live have hours seven days a week. Most banks have branches in grocery stores. Do you live in the Ozarks? |

Most banks are open on Saturday, they also have machines outside so you can deposit your paycheck and get the cash you need. I never have to go inside the bank anymore |

The bank I used to work for opens every day and saturdays.
You can post items to them and they will process them, they will return a stamped paying in book upon request. Many have deposit machines in banking halls where the cash machines are and you can deposit items there. The machine issues a receipt.
You just have to find out what services you can access and use them.
I believe that some branches in larger shopping centres also open sundays. |

Wouldn't it be nice if banks had second shifts too? Then everyone would be able to get their banking done. Anyway, historicaly speaking, when businesses were open that's when banks were open. I think it was actually easier to get time to go to the bank back in the good ol' days than it is now. Also, I think employers tended to pay you in cash so you didn't have to go to the bank to cash your paycheck. |

I've never understood this either. BUT I work second shift so that really isn't a problem for me. Since probably 60% of America works first shift, banks and doctors offices should be open like 11-7 or something instead of 8-4 or 9-5. |

Yes, I am in agreement with you. I guess they think anyone can take off from work whenever they wish.
Some banks are open until late on one or two nights per week. Some banks are open half a day on Saturday. Call your bank and find out the hours and dates. |

I totally agree.....when you are busy at work they're open and when you finally get off work they're closed. I guess that's another one of life's mysteries. |

Well there are people that work at the bank so why would you wonder i mean You Want Them To Work More Than You???? |

I've had the same question... Honest people are at work and thieves are out in force robbing the banks of the money that the people are working hard to make...
Kind of like the US government... |

Simple, they don't want you to have your money. |
