You probably don't know what that person is going through at home. If they are mean to you, most likely, someone is mean to them.
(That does not give them an excuse to be mean to you, but it might explain why they are mean)
Here's my experience... I became very good friends with a girl who's younger than I am. That's fine. It never bothered me that we were different ages, but she was somewhat immature. Right now, she won't even speak to me. And it's because of something really little.
I don't think she should be rude to me, but I'm not mad at her. Here's why...She has a mixed-up life. I don't think she knows her dad. Her mom is on drugs, and doesn't really care about the kids. Her mom says a lot of things, but never does them. Her sister just got pregnant, and she's not even an adult.
See, with my friend, this might explain why she's so mean. Maybe this will help you to understand your friends too. |
