well i think alot of it has to do with parents not being open about sex and also teens are not responsible enough to go out and get condoms and/or birth control and sometimes they just don't know that these options are available to them w/o their parents finding out. |

It is called I don't care syndrome. Because when you are in the mood the first thing on your mind is a condom. And honestly you don't want to upset him because it is a hot moment. So you just go with it hoping you don't CATCH anything or get pregnant. It is all in how you control yourself and the men you are with. Men need to be tees ed and control ed. He doesn't even have to be positive for anything as long as the other person he slept with had something, you can easily catch it. Give yourself some credit. you can have lots of fun if you know what you are getting into. Plus girls can also buy condoms too even the good ones. There really aren't that many teens getting pregnant at this time. The only reason that it seems like there is , is because they are made an example of. Teens are wising up and not getting pregnant as offten as they did say 15 years ago. The main reason for pregnancy is they want someone to love, next comes hormones, and sometimes it's because of lack of supervision. |

In my opinion - sex education is not graphic enough to make put us off - or/and is given too early (well they dont really give it to us when we are thinking about it). Also an element of stupidity not to use any contraception and naiveity from those who dont - thinking it wont happen to them - so they dont do anything about it! |
