Why are the zippers on a women's jacket backwards from a man's jacket?

For the same reason bras hook in the back: women used to have servants to help them put their clothes on, and it was more convenient to have the clothes set up for them. Women keep buying them that way, so nothing changes. And women talk about men not wanting to ask for directions!

Actually the mens jackets are the ones that are backward.
Honestly I was just told so you know you are wearing mens clothes, so now I make sure all my zippers or buttons are on the WRONG side so I know my clothes are hiding me.
