Try having calm, non-stimulating, relaxing time before bed. Perhaps listen to quiet music, have a herbal tea. You body probably needs time to get relaxed before being expected to fall asleep. Good luck. |

Your insomnia may be due to lack of energy expenditure, over-consumption in daily calories, excess caffeine intake, alcohol, light factor, medications, etc. This is based on my past sleeping problems. Do a little more exercise during your day, avoid caffeine if you don't need it, avoid alcohol, wear an eye patch, eat lighter dinners, check meds if on any, ...
If all fails, use Benadryl pills as your solution, but try it on a weekend that has no agenda plans because it may knock you out for quite some time. Don't use if you don't intend to get at least 8 hrs of sleep. (1 pill) |

it could be insomnia, if you cant get to sleep in the first half hour, get up and do somthing else in another room. dont stay lying down, because it could make things worse and u might expect not to sleep everytime you go to bed. also dont do anything i your room but sleep, dont watch tv or read. try saying the word "one" everytime you breath out while trying to sleep. studies have shown it clears the mind and sooths the body while trying to sleep |
