Because classrooms today are too over crowded. Teachers cannot give the attention to the students or cover all the possibilities that are required to learn a particular subject. So there is no way they can reinforce a subject while in the classroom. Repetition is the best way to reinforce. |

to get you in to habit of working every day... in the "real" world, you have to work everyday and make a living, even when you don't feel like it... plus learing is essential for everyday living even after school os over... every job you have, you will learn something new. People who do not get used to learning, do not do well in life... |

Well, because it helps increase education plus your mom and dad (the majority of workers out there) probably work til about 5 or 6pm when you get home at 3pm. That homework will normally act as thought you were still at school for those extra hours like you'd get if you had an actual job. In a way its preparing you for longer hours. :) Hope that makes sense. |
