Because smaller versions of anything makes a girl think (at least on some level) that it is a "baby" version. Most girls love babies. Puppies are cuter than dogs. Miniature dogs get to have "puppy" status their whole life. Fact is the smaller something is, the more a girl wants to take care of it.

Because small things ARE cute!!! They're also handy if you want to stuff them in your purse. Girls seem to want to have everything on hand for every given situation. It's wired in us because we're supposed to be the caring and nurturing sex.
However, now that you mentioned the "cute stone", I think they use cute as a conversation filler. |

i cant help but think that its very teenybopper. as a gal myself, i dont exactly refer to ALL small things are cute (a CUTE room?? out of all descriptive words out there, they chose CUTE??).
I should say that they say cute like how we say 'cool' things are 'neat'. not very exact but u get the picture of wat ur trying to say.in other words, its a girly talk,dude. |

Most girls think EVERYTHING is cute(or adorable) and the easiest way to say that is "awwwwwwwwwww" Isn't it better that they think its all cute rather than gross? |
